Living history.

Living history was a part of my life for 11 years. Studying the history of medieval garments going back to the Viking age, but mostly from the early renaissance. I delved into book upon book talking about the fashions, materials and accessories of men, women and children to learn. It was rewarding and fascinating work being commissioned to recreate garments for medieval reenactors. I used manuscripts, medieval effigies and incised slabs as my references.
