Sheela na gig
Sheela Na Gig`s are a very fascinating phenomenon. My family and I visited Ireland last summer(2024) and saw a couple of them in person. They are carved in stone in various places. My husband loved them and wanted a replica to hang in our house, so as a Christmas gift I carved a replica of the one we saw on a building at the Rock of Cashel

Medieval bookshelf

My daughter needed a shelf in her room for her toys, so that gave me a reason to make this. A medieval reproduction of a bookshelf with viking age patterned wood carved sides.
Other wood carvings and items I've made:

Reproduction of a viking head on a fence post
The original and my reference point below.

Checkers
Wood burned Midgard's worms, Rosemaling and a replica of a dragons head.

Reproduction of a viking pouch, a gnome wallhanger, a rune piece and a Yggdrasil tree.

Woodcarved and stained signs and candle holder.

A hutch.
I really wanted a hutch to fit in this spot, but nothing I was looking at would fit such a narrow space, so I ended up drawing up plans to make one instead. With Rosemaling on it of course. The doors I got at Habitat for humanity and the door knobs from The Antique mall in Old Strathcona.

As a huge Ghibli fan I made some fan pieces to mount on my fence!

A table made from our old maple tree that fell during a storm.

Bird houses and ring toss games.
